Alex O’Brien
President
Alex O’Brien is an Amarillo native, graduating from Tascosa High School in 1988. After continuing his education at Stanford University, O’Brien enjoyed a long career in the tennis world highlighted by a number 1 in the world doubles ranking, US Open Doubles title, appearance in the Sydney Olympics, and five Davis Cup appearances. After tennis, Alex O’Brien joined the Bank of Commerce as a board member and original owner in 2000. Subsequently, O’Brien stepped into the role of Bank President in 2008. He has continued his education in business and banking by attending UCLA Management and Development for Entrepreneurs as well as Texas Tech Rawls School of Banking and Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.
Ray Richardson
Mortgage Director
Amarillo native Ray Richardson brings 40 years of mortgage experience to the Bank of Commerce team. After owning a successful California mortgage company for 27 years, Ray returned to Amarillo in 2007 and joined the Bank of Commerce staff. He and his wife, Susan, reside in Amarillo.
Lori Peterson
Compliance Officer
Compliance Officer Lori Moore joined Bank of Commerce in 2004. Originally from Colorado, Lori has lived in the Amarillo area since 1981. She enjoys gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and ancestry search.
